About Me
Hi, I'm Sarah. Maybe you feel stuck right now. Maybe things feel hard and you're just not sure what to do. Maybe you've noticed unresolved feelings, or big feelings, coming back again and again. Maybe you feel stuck in a relationship, a season in your life, or your identity. Maybe it feels like things might always feel this way. Clients that I work with are curious about their experiences. Whether it's noticing past patterns, current feelings, or experimenting with doing something different, the clients that I see often want to understand more about themselves, to show up for themselves in ways they hope to be.
I join with clients using an attachment-based, trauma-informed approach to hold space and help them move through feeling stuck. I have extensive experience and training supporting clients through OCD, anxiety, depression, relationships, infertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting. I also enjoy working with folx navigating identity exploration.
Clients have described me as warm, caring, and compassionate, whether on screen, or in person. I am honored that clients choose me, and trust me, to hold space and hope for them. I celebrate the courage you have gathered to look for a therapist, and I would be honored to hold hope and space for you.
Training and Experience
I have clinical experience in a variety of areas such as child welfare, hospitals, employer groups, group practice, and private practice. I have extensive experience and training using ERP (Exposure-Response Prevention) alongside ACT and DBT to navigate OCD. Additionally, I am certified in perinatal mental health, and have taken advanced trainings on working with clients experiencing infertility, loss, and perinatal mood disorders. For couples work, my training includes emotionally-focused therapy.
